For those whose grave is marked with a privately purchased monument the VA furnishes a bronze plaque or bronze niche, free of charge, to be placed on the marker.  A family member supplies a copy of the DD214 discharge papers from the deceased veteran to Lowell Granite Company, we then complete the necessary paper work to order the plaque from the VA. The plaque is then delivered directly to Lowell Granite Company. We charge a minimal fee to mount the plaque to the memorial.
